USAID is seeking applications from the qualified candidates for the positions of Human Resources Assistant. Duty location is Washington DC Metro Area, DC, US. This is full time job and salary range is $46,745.00 to $60,765.00 / Per Year.
Duties and Responsibilities :
The Human Resources Assistant applies an extensive body of Human Resources employment rules, procedures, and technical methods necessary to support a staffing function. Processes the full range of official staffing actions. Conducts orientation sessions for new employees by answering questions in person and guiding them through the paperwork process when they enter on duty. Researches problems by obtaining relevant facts about the problems, evaluating the adequacy of these facts and explaining options available to employees based upon analysis of individual circumstances.
Qualifications and Experience :
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service. This experience could have been gained in the military, public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: Experience in processing all types of personnel actions including a wide variety of unique human resources actions. Experience maintaining and reviewing automated employee data and personnel histories in the agency personnel and payroll system.
There is no education requirement for this position.
