European Initiative on Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) is accepting proposals for Country Based Support Schemes (CBSS) to support civil society in Mongolia in working on human rights (political, civil, economic, social and cultural) and democratization.
Objectives for this proposals are-
- enhance and protect the rights of the most vulnerable sectors of society
- support civil society in promoting and protecting human rights, as well as enhance its participation in lawmaking process
- support the prevention of discrimination, human trafficking and sexual exploitation, domestic violence and assist affected victims in society
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 570,000. The Contracting authority reserves the right not to award all available funds.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organizations such as-
- Civil society organisations, including non-governmental organisations and independent political foundations, community based organisations, and private sector agencies, institutions and organisations and networks thereof at local, national, regional and international level
- Public sector agencies, institutions and organisations and networks at local, national, regional and international level
- International and regional inter-governmental organisations as defined in Article 43 of the Implementing Rules of the EC Financial Regulation, however, in case of a multibeneficiary grant, an International Organisation cannot be the applicant and
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or Mongolia. This obligation does not apply to international organisations and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entities, not acting as an intermediary.
- be officially registered respectively for at least two years as regards Mongolian organisations and for at least three years as regards European organisations, at the time of the submission of an application.
