The Asia-Europe Foundation promotes greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe through intellectual, cultural and people-to-people exchanges. The major goals of the Foundation are to- strengthen Asia-Europe ties, create shared experiences for learning and dialogue, enhance mutual understanding, and explore opportunities for cooperation.
In the last 15 years, the Asia-Europe Foundation brought together more than 17,000 people from Asia and Europe and implemented over 600 projects covering the areas of Governance and Human Rights, Economy and Society, Sustainable Development and Environment, Public Health, Arts and Culture and Academic Co-operation and Education.
