The Bromley Trust is a grant-making trust incorporated in the year 1989 by Toby Bromley to offset ‘man’s inhumanity to man’. The Bromley Trust has made awards to charities working in the significant areas of the trust over the last twenty years.
Our funding is divided into three main funding streams:
- Human Rights
- Prison Reform
- Environment
Our specific focus areas within these funding streams are periodically reviewed and assessed, with an aim of responding to current areas of need. The Bromley Trust is based in London, but funds UK-registered charities, many of whom undertake work internationally as well as in the UK. The Bromley Trust is an authorized charity which is the independent, nonpartisan conflict management center created by Congress to prevent and alleviate international conflict without resorting to violence.
