European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) is accepting proposals for Neighborhood Civil Society Facility Program(CSF) under Europe Aid. The mission of this program is supporting a favorable environment for civil society organizations and the promotion of human rights, in particular by fostering human rights education and respect.
Objectives-
- Advancing the rights of vulnerable groups or minorities within Israel, notably the Arab minority and refugees/asylum seekers
- Respect for international humanitarian law and human rights in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including the rights of the children in armed conflicts
- Supporting a favorable environment for civil society organizations and the promotion of human rights
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 2,161,112. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons or an entity without legal personality
- be non-profit-making and
- be specific types of organizations such as: civil society organizations (including non-governmental non-profit organizations and independent political foundations, community based organizations, and private sector non-profit agencies, institutions and organizations, and networks thereof at local, national, regional and international level), international (inter-governmental) organizations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation. However, in case of a multi-beneficiary grant, an International Organization cannot be the applicant
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or in Israel. This obligation does not apply to international organizations
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
