The Guatemala City office of International Crisis Group has an internship available for undergraduate or postgraduate students. Interns can work either full-time or part-time for three to six months. We are currently looking for an intern able to start in June 2012.
Responsibilities-
The intern will assist with research and also undertake other tasks related to report production and publication. Candidates should be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks, including interviews, online research and administrative work.
Eligibility-
- Undergraduate/post-graduate studies in international relations, political science, economics, law or similar subjects.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English and Spanish.
- Good knowledge of Guatemala and the Central American region
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet.
- Candidates must be highly motivated and responsible.
- Internships at International Crisis Group are unpaid, however, interns will be reimbursed for lunch and transportation costs.
