Applications are invited by ACDI/VOCA form qualified and suitable candidates for the job/vacancy of Marketing and Brand Development Specialist, Ghana. The location of this job will be bases in Ghana. Kindly note that this is a volunteer position.
Agricare Limited requests volunteer assistance to improve its marketing and branding strategy for its livestock and poultry feed products. The volunteer will be asked to assess Agricare’s current marketing activities and to provide recommendations on how best to improve their strategy and approach. The assignment will last for approximately three to four weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research previous to departure. Travel and living expenses are covered.
Qualifications
- University degree in business administration, communication, marketing or another related degree.
- Ten years’ experience in marketing and brand development with a strong background in conducting trainings.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Powerpoint.
- The volunteer should be prepared to travel for long hours in a bad road network linking the farming communities in the region. He/she should also be prepared to live in these rural communities without internet, air-conditioning and other amenities. The volunteer must also be prepared to work under dry and hot weather conditions.
