CARE Zimbabwe is seeking applications from eligible and deserving applicants for job/vacancy of Technical Advisor, Gender. The location of this job will be based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The nature of this position is full-time with expected travel upto 10%. Please note than this position is pending donor approval.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in International Development, Women’s Studies, Agricultural or related field or Bachelors and additional 5 years field experience.
• Background/qualifications in gender transformative programming & gender analysis
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in food security and/or gender programming in a developing country, Southern Africa, Zimbabwe preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and effectively communicate new or sensitive topics
• Knowledge and experience with participatory planning methodologies that promote learning and social change
• Strong conceptual skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team work skills
• Superior written and oral skills in English are essential
