Application are invited by Ford Foundation from eligible and deserving applicants for the job/vacancy of Senior Writer and Editor. The location of this job will be based in New York, USA.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or the Humanities
• At least 10 years of experience in writing, editing and editorial production, with at least 5 years of experience working with topics related to the foundation’s mission
• Proven writing and editing, editorial production
• Excellent inter-personal ability and track record
• Knowledge of the field in which the Ford Foundation works
• Excellent grasp of strategic communication
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree
• Experience with multiple written formats (magazine, policy essay, op-ed, web)
