Qualifications
- At least ten years of experience preferred
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) required, masters degree strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in complex organizations
- People development, mentoring and management experience
- Advanced project and change leadership skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills, ability to work at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with establishing a new PMO function. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with portfolio management, project management and continuous improvement methodologies including six- Sigma & Lean.
- Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated success in building organizational excellence in project and change management principles and practices, business planning analytics and process improvement, budget development and management.
- Ability to excel in situations requiring influence without formal authority in a young and maturing organization – combining the art and science of managing without authority
- Negotiation and strong relationship management skills required.
- Experience developing, analyzing and recommending strategic approaches to drive operations excellence in the foundation
- Ability to prioritize competing priorities, negotiation and consensus building skills, group facilitation.
- Experience determining and facilitating simple processes for estimating organizational demand and capacity on a basis; includes change saturation.
- Deep and proven capabilities and leadership in project and change management
