Applications are invited by Management Sciences for Health(MSH) from qualified and experienced candidates for the job/vacancy of Results-Based Financing Technical Officer. The location of this job will be based in Lusaka in Zambia. Please note that this position is subject to award and funding. The anticipated duration of his position is 18 months.
Qualifications
- A post graduate training in public health or health management sciences.
- Experience in health system strengthening.
- Minimum six years’ experience working in the field of public health.
- At least five years of experience at the operational level and preferably have a familiarity with RBF programmes.
- Previous experience building capacity of intermediate and operational level health workers in management & planning and regulation.
- Previous experience building capacity of non-medical actors in health.
- Experience identifying and formulating training needs;
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative studies;
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills;
- Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local languages a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Zambia as needed.
