United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications from the deserving applicants for the post of Programme Specialist (Local And Crisis Governance And Anticorruption). Strong written and spoken skills in English and Spanish are required .The job location is Bogota, Colombia.
Duties and Responsibilities :
• Management of the Local Governance programme portfolio.
• Management of the Anticorruption programme portfolio.
• Contribution to the elaboration and implementation of the crisis governance strategy.
• Contribution to the development of strategic partnerships and coordination with key national and international stakeholders.
• Supervision and management.
Education:
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or related field.
Experience:
• Five (5) years of relevant working experience in development cooperation in governmental, multilateral or civil society organizations in a multi-cultural setting with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in managing and implementing development projects and programmes related to democratic governance issues.
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
• Previous work experience with United Nations agencies and knowledge and experience with UNDP policies and operations will be an asset.
Language Requirements:
• Strong written and spoken skills in English and Spanish.
• Nationals from Colombia are not eligible to apply.
