United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Coordinator. Duration of initial contract is one year renewable subject to good performance and the job location is Amman, Jordan. Fluent oral and written English as well as Arabic is required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Implementation of project activities
- Provision of top quality advisory and programme development services
- Facilitation of knowledge building and management
- Creation of strategic partnerships and implementation of the resource mobilization initiatives
Qualifications and Experience :
- Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, economics, law, public or business administration and related subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the area of governance and/or private sector development. Specific experience in gender-related initiatives is an asset. Prior working experience in the UN system and/or in the EU is required. Familiarity with the EU project cycle is an added bonus.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent oral and written English as well as Arabic is required.
