USAID is seeking an individual for the post of Program Analyst. Salary range is $89,033.00 to $136,771.00 / Per Year and job location is Washington, DC, US.
Duties and Responsibilities :
As a Program Analyst, the incumbent provides guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting USAID programs. The incumbent participates in the analysis of agency-wide projects and programs, such as directing the marketing analysis of agency-wide program needs and requirements. The incumbent plans, organizes, and carries through to completion analytical studies involving issues related to key agency programs. The incumbent develops new ways to measure program accomplishments, results, and effectiveness. Analytical assignments involve efforts to develop and implement broad changes. The incumbent consults with all levels of management, headquarters personnel, other federal agencies, and to foreign and commercial organizations. Establishes and maintains liaison with program directors and works closely with their representatives to ensure that concerns such as proper requirements definition and adequate funding are met. The incumbent develops long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones for evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of major agency programs.
Qualifications and Experience :
In order for your application to be considered, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:
- Grade 13: Qualifying experience for the GS-13 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service.
- Grade 14: Qualifying experience for the GS-14 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service.
One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of qualifying specialized experience at the next lower level for this position includes: Coordinates the work efforts of technical personnel in conducting conceptual systems analyses, evaluations, or investigations of highly unstructured and interconnected problems involving controversial and complex administrative or programmatic issues and problems.
Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date. This means that you must have served at least 52 weeks at the next grade level (or equivalent) below the grade advertised on this vacancy announcement.
