Applications are invited by WWF-UK from experienced and qualified candidates for the job/vacancy of Director of Corporate Partnerships. The location of this job will be based in Woking (initially Godalming)- UK.
Context
The purpose of the Corporate Partnerships team is to raise long term, sustainable net income from corporate funders through the best available means and in accordance with our brand objectives to support the mission of WWF. Corporate Partnerships work closely with colleagues across WWF but in particular with the Corporate Stewardship team to ensure that we join up our income, change and brand objectives with companies.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Degree or equivalent level education
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff to achieving challenging goals through personal leadership
- High level personal influencing skills
- Excellent ability to negotiate with key stakeholders including extremely senior business counterparts to achieve successful outcomes
- Extensive experience of developing, managing and motivating staff in a variety of contexts
- Extensive experience of managing and allocating financial, human and other resources effectively to meet organisational goals
- Knowledge of contractual management and Service Level Agreements
- Excellent ability to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations making recommendations as required
- Strong understanding of performance metrics and KPIs for corporate partnerships
- Excellent negotating skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to o the mission and values of WWF
Minimum Criteria
- Expert knowledge of corporate and NGO partnerships
- Extensive experience of developing and implementing strategies to generate income from companies covering new business and account development and management.
- Good understanding of digital media and the use of digital channels for marketing communications
- Good understanding of the full mix of fundraising approaches, methods and channels
- Good understanding of sustainability issues as they relate to companies
