The International Research and Exchanges Board (IREX) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Budget Coordinator, based in Washington DC, USA.
IREX is an international nonprofit organization providing thought leadership and innovative programs to promote positive lasting change globally.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Budget Coordinator will perform the following functions-
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and final financial reports and budget modifications.
- Performs monthly reconciliation of division procurement card.
- Assist in executing expense reclassification as needed.
- Assist in reviewing cost proposals for new business opportunities.
- Provide support on financial matters to project teams as needed.
- Liaise with a tax consulting firm on non-resident alien tax compliance as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Demonstrated interest in international development.
- Experience working on international development projects in project management, project finance and/or new business.
- Working knowledge of U.S. Government (USAID, DOS) regulations applicable to international development projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and individuals.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Proficiency of MS Excel, and in other MS Office tools.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system desirable.
- Associate or BA/BS degree required.
