International Medical Corps (IMC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Finance Manager, Grants in Turkey.
The Finance Manager, Grants will assist program teams in the overall administrative and financial management of the projects including budget preparations, budgeted versus spending analysis.
IMC’s mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Finance Manager, Grants will perform the following functions-
- Assist program management team in budgets development for the new projects as per project proposals and activities suggested.
- Prepare final budgets and budget notes in IMC and donors’ formats and seek HQ approval prior donor submission.
- Ensure that all other costs relevant to HQ such as audit, security, backstopping are included and budgeted as per internal guidelines.
- Prepare budget re-alignments and re-evaluations and share timely information with the relevant staff.
- In coordination with Split Finance office prepare Chart of Account for new budgets and share information with relevant staff after HQ approval.
- Prepare, organize and conduct grants start up meeting with program, logistics, and HR and security departments.
- Closely monitor procurements/payments for each project ensuing connect avocations to accounts and project codes.
- Liaise with procurement department on status of deliveries of major procurements and timely share information with the country management team.
- Prepare and share provisional and final pipeline analysis with the country management teams.
- Prepare and share funding analysis once a month with the country management team. Funding analysis needs to include suggestions of budget re-alignments, flexibility, over or under spent.
- Work closely with the sector coordinators/program managers with regards to work plans, procurement plans and estimations for pending period.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Minimum of a college or university degree in Accounting or Business Administration; preferably a Master’s degree.
- Minimum 3-5 years managerial experience in a non-profit organization or equivalent experience, training and education.
- Extensive experience in the administrative and financial management of overseas programs at the management level.
- Extensive experience in working with computerized accounting systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge and working experience with USAID, EU, DflD and other donors.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Proven capabilities in leadership required.
