International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Investment Analyst in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The Investment Analyst will work closely with team leaders as part of the project team to assist in the origination, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and bidding of infrastructure projects.
IFC works with the private sector in Developing Countries to help create opportunity for all.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Investment Analyst will perform the following functions
- Preparation of pitch books and proposals.
- Approval memos and documentation.
- Due diligence and transaction structuring reports.
- Financial models.
- Review legal and technical outputs and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of prequalification and tender documentation.
- Assist in marketing to potential investors, conducting international competitive bidding and commercial/financial closure.
- Assist in other project or strategy related activities as the need may arise.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or a related specialty from a top reputed university.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, advisory services or business consulting, project finance and/or infrastructure economics.
- Knowledge of overall industry sector trends and experience in infrastructure transactions/PPPs in ECA.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, with good presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel on short notice and frequently, as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Russian.
- Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and implement projects and to close transactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and develop relationships.
- Knowledge of and experience in the IFI’s activities and governmental environments is an advantage.
