International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Payroll Analyst in Texcoco, Mexico.
CIMMYT’s mission is to sustainably increase the productivity of maize and wheat systems to ensure global food security and reduce poverty.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Payroll Analyst will perform the following functions-
- Receive and monitor all payroll incidents of the Head Quarters and Experimental Stations.
- Manage and control leave absences (holidays, paid/unpaid leave, and sick leave).
- Review all payment slip vouchers ensuring correct information as per staff contracts.
- Support the payroll window (delivery of payroll receipts, monthly and annual tax withholdings, etc.).
- File all documentation related to calculating the payroll.
- Manage processes related to food coupons including but limited to enrolling, cancelling, and card replacements, calculating the monthly, annual, and bonus food coupon payrolls, provisions, and generating the payment journal.
- Support activities related to the Savings Fund, including but not limited to the Savings Fund loans, annual payment of the fund, and generating payment journals to the external service provider.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum two years of work experience in an Accounting and Payroll function.
- Intermedium level of English will be an advantage.
- Experience in the calculation and payment of taxes (SIR, ISPT, SUA-IMSS, 2.5s/electronic invoicing).
- Experience with Mexican Labor Law, IMSS, INFONAVIT, INFONACOT.
- Excellent use of MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
- Experience with AX Dynamics/Supernomina will be an advantage.
- Assertiveness, proactive problem solving attitude, strong teamwork, and results orientation.
- Ability to work well under pressure as part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
