Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Regional Head of Finance and Operations in Paris, Kenya.
AKDN’s mission is to improve the welfare and prospects of people in the developing world, particularly in Asia and Africa, without regard to faith, origin or gender.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Regional Head of Finance and Operations will perform the following functions-
- Provide leadership in finance, ICT, Procurement and General-administration across AKES-EA.
- Ensure effective risk management across AKES-EA as well as compliance with AKES-EA policy and professional standards across functional areas.
- Responsible for the provision of high quality services to clients at the service company, region and headquarter levels, aligned with AKES-EA ‘Education-first’ service paradigm.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree, preferably an MBA.
- At least fifteen years of professional experience, part of which would have been at a senior leadership role at a head-quarter level.
- Experience in working in a commercial or not for profit organization will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and practical experience of a wide range of business functions and systems within finance and operations.
- High level of drive and personal motivation, with the stature required to interact effectively with senior officers across the AKES system, the AKDN as well as government departments.
