The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is currently accepting applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist is able to carry complex project and departmental work ensuring that IDB’s compensation and benefits function is competitive and complies with international standards.

IDB missions to promote comprehensive human development, with a focus on the priority areas of alleviating poverty, improving health, promoting education, improving governance and prospering the people.

Key Job Responsibilities

The Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist will perform the following functions-

Contribute to annual departmental planning by developing and presenting budget and project proposals related to compensation and benefits.
Maintain the salary structure of IDB and support in conducting internal equity check on salary structure.
Participate in and coordinate the activities of job evaluation.
Conduct an impact analysis of salary changes on IDB’s salary structure.
Coordinate with vendors in benchmarking the compensation and benefits structure of IDB.
Interpret and provide clarifications to relevant parties on compensation and benefits guidelines, policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain the job descriptions manual and provide expertise in job analysis.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in compensation and benefits arena and introduce new policies, procedures, technologies and programs to meet the future requirements.
Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports as and when requested by the management.
Interact with vendors and monitor projects as assigned by Division Manager.
Clarify policies to IDB staff and division/department management.
Extract reports from SAP system.
