Abt Associates is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Administration Manager in India.
The Administration Manager will be responsible for the procurement and HR function at the country office.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Administration Manager will perform the following functions-
- Manage the procurement process through the drafting and issuance of RFPs, supporting and guiding the technical teams through the evaluation process, reviewing the evaluation reports and ensuring the procurement process is fully documented.
- Manage and update the existing and potential supplier pool.
- Negotiate with suppliers as appropriate and/ in accordance with RFP instructions.
- Conduct market research to ensure price reasonableness particularly for non-competed procurement.
- Prepare Abt contracts for review by Director and approval by home office.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with organization’s policies and procedures.
- Liaison with program teams to forecast and plan procurements to ensure procurements are began on time and take into consideration the lead time for the procurement process.
- Routinely spot check procurement files to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
- Provide training and guidance on procurement policies and best practices.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master’s Degree in business, international development or similar field.
- Bachelor’s Degree and (6+) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in procurement with some Human Resource experience.
- Solid knowledge of public procurement regulations such as USAID, DfID, UN, World Bank.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, initiative, and good judgment.
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
- CIPS or equivalent certification preferred.
