Abt Associates is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Administrative Assistant / Warehouse Assistant in Mozambique.
The Administrative Assistant / Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for the day to day handling and management of the Central Warehouse ensures that all program inventories accounted for, and safely stored at the project’s central warehouse throughout the year.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant / Warehouse Assistant will perform the following functions-
- Quality control and receipt of delivered goods to the central warehouse, and the processing of appropriate supply chain documentation and updating stock cards, etc.
- Assist in the management of the project’s inventory control system, including storage, quality control, inventory record keeping, and inventory reporting.
- Work with the Logistics Coordinator and Operations Manager supervises the storage, distribution, and transportation of insecticides, personal protective equipment and other IRS commodity goods and equipment.
- Work with Warehouse & Logistics Manager and Operations Manager in support and supervise district and operational sites storekeepers.
- Responsible for conducting the loading and dispatching of materials to the operation sites according BMP.
- Assist with the logistics for all project activities, including spray operations, transport.
- In collaboration with the Operations Manager and Environmental Compliance Officer:
- Ensure that all health and safety measures are in place and followed at all district stores, and operational sites.
- Ensure the clearance and proper disposal of all waste material and excess items from project stores.
- Ensure that report any incidents of expired insecticide.
- Ensure quality storage he/she should conduct daily temperature control in insecticide warehouse.
- Ensure health and safety he/she should be familiarized with intoxications symptoms.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Secondary School (minimum), Bachelor’s degree desirable.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in logistics, stock and warehouse management.
- High School plus three years of experience.
- Experience working with regional government, especially in Quelimane.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse and stock management.
- Excellent management, supervisory, organizational, and computer skills.
- Portuguese language required, English a plus.
