Chemonics International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Chief of Party in South Africa.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Chief of Party will perform the following functions-
- Infrastructure project finance and/or structuring of public-private partnership arrangements.
- Business and working environments in key Southern African countries.
- Capacity building and technical assistance for public-private partnerships and related areas for sector regulators, service providers, and policymaking bodies.
- Coordination with donors, financiers, project proponents, host governments, community stakeholders, regulators, and operators.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced degree in engineering, public policy, business, finance, economics, or a related subject area preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience successfully implementing and managing long-term energy and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in one or more of the following programming areas:
- Support of regional or national energy planning, markets, and regulations.
- Electricity generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Energy transactions (conventional and renewable).
- Infrastructure finance.
- Chief of party or team leader experience on large USAID or donor-funded projects.
- Experience in Africa, preferred.
- Fluency in English, required.
