Global Communities is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Deputy Chief of Party in Honduras.
The Deputy Chief of Party will be responsible for an anticipated USAID/Honduras Workforce Development Activity (WFDA).

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Deputy Chief of Party will perform the following functions-
- Provide technical and administrative support and expertise to the project, serves as lead in the absence of the COP, and serves as a significant liaison with USAID/Honduras, other implementing partners, other donors, and any other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments and manage diverse teams to deliver impact.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus eight years of experience or Master’s degree in business, international development, public policy, education or other relevant field and six years of experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in international work with increasing responsibility, of which at least 4 years’ experience in youth vocational and technical training, institutional strengthening and/or at-risk youth development.
- Leadership experience in donor-funded programs in Honduras, El Salvador or Guatemala. USAID contracts experience desired but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with at-risk youth.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, technical and analytical skills, including an ability to interact effectively with government counterparts and private sector executives.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
