Save the Children is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Head of Organizational Governance and Member Advisory in London, United Kingdom. The duration for the post is of 12 months.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Head of Organizational Governance and Member Advisory will perform the following functions-
- Governance Committee of the SCA Board, Member Growth Group and senior teams at SCA, as well as members, to strengthen member organizations and accountability across the Save the Children network (including with Future Leaders and prospect members).
- In particular ensuring that the member accountability framework becomes embedded within members and ensuring that the ‘peers review’ process is further strengthened and rolled out.
- Responsible for ensuring local ownership and follow through on review outcomes, including supporting the strengthening of member governance and leadership where this is relevant.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Proven leadership at a senior level, preferably in a multi-cultural context, and ability to work in a networked organization, influencing others through ‘soft power’.
- Experience in leading the creation and implementation of a strategy, demonstrating the ability to identify the necessary steps towards an ambitious goal.
- Extensive experience in program and/or organizational planning, change management, and communications with executive leadership.
- External orientation and business understanding: being able to advise senior leaders on the impact of decisions made.
- Proven experience in management, facilitation and training of initiatives with large staff, involving diverse and geographically disparate stakeholder groups.
- Experience as a leader of organizational development or change management initiatives and teams.
- A track record of successful project management in a complex organization, with a proven ability to forge consensus and drive action.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, overcome obstacles to cooperation and progress.
- Experience of building personal networks at senior levels, resulting in improved engagement.
- Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse setting.
- Commitment to Save the Children’s values and ways of working.
