European Central Bank (ECB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Market Infrastructure Specialist in the European Union Countries. The duration for the post is of 11 months.
The Market Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for the ECB’s activities related to the provision of payment and securities settlement services, the oversight of financial market infrastructures and payment instruments, and cooperation with market stakeholders to achieve financial market integration.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Market Infrastructure Specialist will perform the following functions-
- Preparing communication material for the DG/MIP pages of the ECB website and for the T2S twitter account.
- Preparing presentations for the management’s external speaking engagements.
- Preparing and coordinating the publication of articles, interviews and newsletters.
- Assisting in the organization of external events, e.g. inviting speakers, preparing briefing notes and drafting external advertisements.
- Monitoring and compiling news on T2S.
- Cooperating closely with colleagues from DG/MIP and other business areas of the ECB.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, management of European affairs, European or international relations, European studies, English linguistics or similar.
- Ideally two years’ working experience, preferably in market infrastructure and payments projects.
- Proven ability to extract key messages from technical material and present them in a simple and clear manner.
- Good and clear drafting skills in order to prepare communication material for diverse audiences, using varied channels.
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience of using Mindjet Mind Manager would also be an asset.
- Advanced command of English with proven drafting ability.
- An intermediate command of at least one other official language of the EU.
