World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Project Manager in Costa Rica, Central/South America. The duration for the post is of 2 years.
The Project Manager ensures the efficient management of Global Serve as project manager on specific cross-functional communications project teams and initiatives.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Project Manager will perform the following functions-
- Serve as project manager on specific cross-functional communications project teams and initiatives.
- Administer, manage and improve Global Communications current project tools such as the global freelance network and, intranet project management tools.
- In-source or outsource creative needs of the team as needed for quality production.
- Other duties as directed, including but not limited to: analyzing and reporting out on key project outcomes.
- Devotions, team meetings, planning & administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in project management or related discipline.
- 2-4 years of business with an emphasis on being the lead project manager overseeing smaller projects or phases of larger projects.
- Understanding of NGO culture and ethos of accountability, transparency and stewardship.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent computer skills (general).
- High comfort level working with a range of software products for design, workflow, reporting and other administration/management needs.
- PM certification from a nationally or globally recognized entity highly desirable.
- Experience working with multiple cultures, across several time zones.
- Occasional travel may be required (1 – 3 x per year).
- Strong, clear, concise and tactful communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to negotiate consensus among diverse groups and influence and impact the activities of others not in your own reporting structure.
- Service orientation with ability to lead teams, to organize, prioritize and manage multiple task streams according to agreed schedule.
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and be able to work effectively with a diverse team of information technology professionals.
- Requires project management planning tools experience (e.g. Microsoft Project).
