World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Senior Advisor in United States, North America. The duration for the post is of 2 years.
The Senior Advisor ensures the effective operations of all communications systems by overseeing their overall administration and guiding the development of a strategic roadmap for these systems, negotiating with GCIT leadership to ensure timely IT support.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Senior Advisor will perform the following functions-
- Oversight of all Tiger Teams, ensuring adequate resources and use of best practices & principles.
- Lead the development of industry best-practice development and reporting on Communications Strategy: research and propose metrics as needed, negotiate agreement on key metrics. Present a convincing case to take forward to OpCom/ExL and the WVI Board, to shape their thinking around the Partnership Strategy and organizational priorities.
- Guide the Analyst role in establishing efficient processes, workflows and systems to produce reports accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure insights and analysis from Communications data is actionable; develop a learning loop to help Communications managers to improve their operating strategies and tactics.
- Ensure Communications systems operate efficiently; overseeing any approved adjustments or enhancements
- Ensure future needs are documented carefully and oversee the finalization of a functional roadmap for all major Communications systems.
- Serve as business advisor to GICT, negotiating high priority for Communications’ systems needs, ensuring that communications Partnership-wide are enabled with agreed support model for the near and long term.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related degree.
- 7–10 years experience managing a team.
- Experience in executive-level strategy development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, facilitating and guiding a diverse group of stakeholders to consensus.
- Strong conceptual skills required to envisage new directions and opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with exceptional clarity when communicating on complex issues.
- Strong motivational/vision-setting communication skills – Can articulate and communicate visions of possibilities and likelihoods, and motivate/persuade project members, not just direct reports. Can successfully engage staff and make them feel that their work is important to the achievement of the vision.
- International experience and comfort in working across cultures and within complex organizational structures.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent computer skills (general).
- Experience with enterprise-level projects in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated understanding of content management systems for audience engagement.
- Occasional travel may be required (1 – 3 times per year).
