World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Sponsorship Technical Officer for Development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Sponsorship Technical Officer’s work is to ensure that sponsorship service operations within all assigned ADPs are carried out to promote communities’ good understanding of sponsorship for transformation.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Sponsorship Technical Officer for Development will perform the following functions-
- Support the assigned ADPs to promote a good understanding of Sponsorship for Transformation as well as sponsorship requirements, child protection policy, roles and responsibilities among children, families and communities. SBT / SBO, IEC and ICA for start-up ADP 27%.
- Support the assigned ADPs in establishing, engaging and strengthening Community Small Groups, Children Groups, Youth Groups, or those involved in Community Based Child Monitoring system to confidently monitor RC regularly. Community Based Child Monitoring 30%.
- Ensure the assigned ADPs are able to apply DME (Design, Monitoring and Evaluation) of the Sponsorship Management Project, which is aligned with LEAP and reflects the new sponsorship paradigm (Sponsorship for Transformation) and Sponsorship Programming Guidelines. DME 43%.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor degree in Management / Business Administration or English Literature.
- At least 2 years experience in community development project.
- Experience of working with children in a development context.
- Good understanding of sponsorship business process.
- Good understanding of child protection.
- Proficiency in computer—MS Word, MS Excel, and Lotus Notes.
- Effective Communication and Facilitation skills.
- Experience of working with children in a development context.
