Abt Associates is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Capacity Building Advisor in Haiti.
The Capacity Building Advisor will be responsible for leading the coordination efforts with the Haiti office staff, donors, implementing partners and Abt/Bethesda office needs.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Capacity Building Advisor will perform the following functions-
- Work with U.S.-based consultants to develop work plans.
- Coordinate organizational capacity-building activities with various units within the MSPP such as UEP, DRH, DFPSS, UADS, DAB, DOSS, DSO and potentially other partnerships that may develop.
- Communicate regularly with both international and local consultants that work on specific programmatic activities, ensure regular coordination and communication.
- Regularly coordinate with affiliated organizations.
- Assist in the implementation of capacity-building activities.
- Assist in the reporting of progress and provide input to M&E.
- In coordination with the F& A and the Office Managers, assure the logistical arrangements for different activities including tasks such as arranging meetings, reserving venues, coordinating workshops, and implementing retreats for various staff, stakeholders and MSPP officials.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor degree required (e.g. Public Health, Management, Business etc…); Master’s degree preferred.
- (10+) years of experience and a bachelor degree OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in organizational capacity-building such as training, or management improvement.
- Solid organizational skills including timely follow-up.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with counterparts and various factors such as senior government officials.
- Familiarity with USAID and experience working on USAID-funded projects is a plus.
- Fluency in French (oral and written).
- Intermediate proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
