World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Agricultural Facilitator in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The duration for the post is of 2 years.
The Agricultural Facilitator’s work is to implement project activities as required by the World Vision Zimbabwe (Relief) Agricultural Recovery program within assigned district locations.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Agricultural Facilitator will perform the following functions-
- Assist in the Implementation, monitoring and evaluation of project deliverables as per project design.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders (Farmers/ Farmer groups, World Vision Zimbabwe Area Development programs, Ministry of Agriculture other NGOs and the project manager) to ensure appropriate programming strategies are developed and refined for the target population.
- Facilitate in the selection of appropriate selection of target population to be recipients of agricultural inputs programs.
- Visit target communities on a regular basis to discuss with farmers their problems and experiences and learn about communities and agricultural practices relevant to the increased production of food for target communities.
- Facilitate conduction of appropriate trainings for Agriculture extension staff and farmers’ for use in local community development work and informal education activities.
- Follow up on the timely production of regular and timely activity reports regarding projects.
- Participate in planning sessions and in the development of program strategies.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Agricultural Officer.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A Diploma preferably in Agriculture at recognized College.
- Demonstrated ability in the design and effective use of training materials.
- Knowledge on agronomy and other agricultural related programmes.
- Knowledge in agricultural program design and implementation.
- Ability to respect and relate to people of different ethics and culture.
