Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Manager, Project Procurement Division in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Manager, Project Procurement Division will be responsible to provide the leadership, direction and coordination of activities for the Project Procurement Division.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Manager, Project Procurement Division will perform the following functions-
- Participate in the development of the Operations Policy and Services Department strategy, budget and business planning processes based on the policies and guidelines, as well as best practices.
- Create and implement Division’s actionable short to medium term operational plans and budgets with operational KPIs linked to the Operations Policy and Services Department strategy.
- Coordinate the Division’s activities so that it effectively utilizes its resources, manages its priorities, and is able to be both responsive and proactive.
- Manage, monitor and evaluate the Division’s ongoing performance and quality of its outputs and services, identifying and initiating actions for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure review of the BTORs, identification and resolution of Project Procurement related concerns and issues; and records management of all related documents.
- Communicate intended results, performance, results achieved, and lessons learned within the Division as well as to its Management, relevant governing bodies, partners and other key stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Degree in Engineering/ Economics / Business Administration / any relevant discipline.
- Bachelor degree with 15 years experience.
- Master degree with 12 years experience.
- PhD with 10 years of experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various stakeholders and departments.
- Knowledge in system development in order to create policies, manuals and guidelines around operations.
- Ability to effectively implement such systems across departments and MCs.
- Strong understanding of procurement in order to manage a resource database and apply methods of standardization.
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
- Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.
