World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Communication Officer for Editorial in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Communication Officer for Editorial plays a leading role in the Communications Department and is a technical expert in written communications, journalism, storytelling, planning producing and delivering compelling child-focused editorial content that ultimately gains understanding and support for the ministry in Cambodia.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Communication Officer for Editorial will perform the following functions-
- Develop and Deliver Editorial Strategy for External Engagement.
- Provide Leadership and Technical Support for Internal Communications.
- Ensure Editorial Guidance and Support for Integrated Communications.
- Host/Write for Media and Donor Visits to the Projects.
- Providing on-going capacity building training and support to the operations communication officers in the areas of editorial, story development and resourcing and interviewing.
- Manage the daily work of the Writing Assistant, including translations, basic story gathering, preliminary editorial submissions and relevant Share assignments.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing, or relevant field, or Bachelor degree with more than 7 years work experience.
- At least 5 Years experience in Journalism, Writing, Editorial, or Publishing.
- Expert experience writing for news, op-ed, blogs, features, promo’s and advertising.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (Khmer and English) Proven capacity to translate and interpret.
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of journalism, communication, media, marketing, advertising industry.
- Experience in and strong understanding of international development industry.
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to embrace organizational values towards the mission of WVI.
