Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) is currently seeking applications for the eligible applicants for the post of Communications Coordinator in Paris, France. The duration for the post is of 12 months.
The Communications Coordinator focuses primarily on providing key marketing and communications support to EMEA BSR staff and projects, operating as an integral part of the global BSR Communications team.
The mission of BSR is to work with business to create a just and sustainable world.
Key Jobs Responsibility
The Communications Coordinator will perform the following functions-
- Assist with the organization of BSR’s events in Paris, London, Copenhagen, etc. (logistics, planning, live-tweets, etc.).
- Write, produce, and coordinate the dissemination of BSR’s Event Highlights Reports (in French) on topics such as climate change, economic inclusion, human rights, etc.
- Assist the team in developing high-value content in French (presentations, blogs, and articles).
- Be the entry-point of the regular update of the BSR French website.
- Assist in the production of email marketing collateral and campaigns.
- Maintain the contact database to make sure targeted audience receives relevant BSR’s information and content.
- Track and report BSR’s coverage in European media outlets.
- Provide general support during outreach campaigns.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- BA / Masters in Marketing / Communication / Sustainability.
- Fluency in French & English with superior written and verbal communication, writing, and editing skills.
- Strong initiative, with a ‘can do’ approach.
- Familiarity with core marketing functions (events, database, media, social media, etc.).
- Familiarity with CSR and sustainability issues preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of and experience working on issues related to sustainability/corporate social responsibility strongly preferred.
- Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization with a collaborative environment.
- High ethical standards and commitment to BSR core values of leadership, respect and integrity executive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
