United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Yangon, Myanmar. The duration of this post is 1 year.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will perform the following functions-
- Develop and maintain updated and effective M&E database system for actions supported by the PR-GFATM.
- Collect and assemble data related to programs/projects and provide updated information for analysis and report purposes.
- Maintain the information management platforms for the PR-GFAMT and providing ongoing systems support.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of project information in the computerized database system and issue status reports for M&E Purposes.
- Ensure accurate and timely M&E data entry operations and that data are readily available as appropriate to the stakeholders. Ensure that the data in the M&E System is accurate and regularly updated.
- Develop an alert system, so that the M&E Unit is alerted at different stages, for example-missing data, delay in progress against plan etc.
- Act as focal person for preparation of the PR-GFATM statistics.
- Maintain a complete reporting system for generation of various reports from the M&E database system.
- Ensure adequate feedback to/from the fund beneficiaries on data obtained from the PR’s M&E database system.
- Select and design approaches for managing information and knowledge including support to staff in relations PR M&E and Information Management Systems.
- Design a suitable small scale M&E database system for each SR as necessary.
- Prepare narrative report for M&E activities to the management on monthly basis.
- Design forms for data/status tracking.
- Advise SRs on their own needs for a sufficient M&E system.
- Perform other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- University degree in the field of Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Software Engineering or other related field relevant to the above duties.
- Master degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M & E of health projects, including qualitative and participatory methodologies.
- Bachelor degree with additional 7 years of similar experience is considered equivalent.
- Experience in management information systems and development of databases and local/web interfaces.
- Experience in developing professional data structures for project management systems.
- Previous successful involvement with and a good knowledge of NGOs & civil society.
- Fluency in both English and Myanmar language.
