The KNVC Tuberculosis Foundation is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Communication Officer. The position will be based in The Hague, Netherlands.
KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is a Dutch based international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), still the second most deadly infectious disease in the world, killing 4,000 people every day.
Key Job Responsibilities
The Communication Officer will perform the following functions-
- Develop and implement a communication plan for the project, in cooperation with partners and USAID
- Increase the profile of Challenge TB and KNCV by capturing, writing, editing and publishing success stories, fact sheets, articles, press releases, brochures etc.
- Contribute to quarterly/annual reports, website and social media
- Be the focal point for Challenge TB communications and events in the different participating countries
- Build on existing and develop new relationships with media/decision makers/member organizations and others
- Stimulate and guard the proper use of branding and marking according to KNCV and USAID rules and regulations
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- A bachelor’s degree in communications or journalism
- Minimum of 5 year experience in communications, marketing or journalism in an international working environment
- Online- and social media skills
- Fluency, in both verbal and written English and Dutch
