World Vision International (WVI) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Regional Operations Manager in Savelugu, Ghana. The duration of this post is 2+ years.
The Regional Operations Manager will provide technical and managerial leadership to field staff in the Regional Operations Area and to ensure transformational development through the implementation of Sponsorship and non-Sponsorship projects in line with World Vision ministry policies, standards and guidelines.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Regional Operations Manager will perform the following functions-
- Lead planning and implementation processes involving Assessments, Designs/Redesigns, Baselines, Evaluations and Transition as well as Lessons Learnt Events in the operational area.
- Ensure high level of quality programmes in alignment with World Vision standards and development approach.
- Oversee the Area Programming budgeting and planning processes and reviews.
- Put in place immediate measures to address all variances in actual budget spending.
- Ensure that competent and motivated staff of the Regional Operational Area are hired and retained.
- Establish annual performance and development goals for staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure Sponsorship management standards are met and child protection policies and protocols are adhered to by all staff and partners.
- Coordinate the integration of cross cutting themes and ensure well-coordinated and effective communication between the Regional Operations Office, Clusters Offices and Head Office.
- Ensure emergency preparedness and security measures are in place for the safety of the programmes, staff, World Vision Ghana assets, communities, Registered Children & their families.
- Build partnerships through networking and advocacy with public and private sector to promote child well-being and World Vision Ghana visibility at the Regional level.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Bachelor degree in a field related to Development, Management, Economic or Social Sciences is preferred. (Master degree is an advantage).
- 5 years in managerial position.
- 3 years in leadership position in development programs.
- Program management skills.
- Human Resource skills.
- Nationality of Ghana.
