The Amnesty International is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Country Manager – Growth in Bangalore, India.
The Country Manager will have overall responsibility of Outreach & Partnership, Donor Relationship & Stewardship and, Peer to Peer or Crowd funding from existing Membership of Amnesty International India.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Country Manager will perform the following functions-
- Design product and strategies for employee, payroll and cause related giving from corporation;
- Create new partnerships with Corporations across the country for donor growth, including through Channel Sales;
- Design partnership engagement models for retention;
- Groom team to create, close and manage partnerships with Corporations;
- Develop individual fundraising growth strategies and plan around Outreach marketing across the country. Develop, implement, and lead a successful and integrated donor relation and stewardship program that strategically targets all levels of individual giving at AII;
- Oversees and directs the development and implementation of strategic communications in multiple mediums. This will include, but not be limited to, social media sites,
- Annual Report to Donors, e-blasts, year-end-reminders, endowment reports, gift acknowledgements, web pages, invitations, newsletter updates, fundraising campaign materials, and press releases;
- Manages and coordinates any campaign-related kick-offs and celebration events;
- Tracks donor relations and stewardship activities in the established databases to enhance relationships and increase the likelihood of continued contributions;
- Works closely with programme, Campaign and Finance teams to report to donors on the use of gifts, to arrange meetings between donors and beneficiaries, programme staffs etc., if appropriate, and to help celebrate gifts;
- Manage and oversee proper use of complex data through CRM and other platforms;
- Integrate the whole individual fundraising data management system into a comprehensive monitoring platform and develop multiple monitoring standards;
- Produce necessary reports for Director Fundraising as necessary.
- Develop engagement models with existing donor base of AII and create a crowd funding FR vertical;
- Integrate this crowd funding vertical with Outreach and Face to Face fundraising projects of AII;
- Membership development and engagement for building the movement and greater impact;
- Create new crowd funding campaigns in schools by building cross program collaborations with Human Rights Education programme of AII;
- Integrate the Human Rights Education crowd funding project with Outreach and other Individual fundraising projects of AII.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Minimum 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising;
- Very strong understanding of fundraising operations;
- Very high level of proficiency in understanding complex data;
- Very strong leadership attributes to lead a large and diverse team;
- Strong ability to effectively prepare and present information to various groups;
- Must have the ability to create, lead and close complex negotiations with corporates and other for profit entities;
- Project Management experience is essential;
- The ability to work independently or with others to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision is essential;
- Knowledge of marketing principles to develop and implement non- profit fundraising strategies is critical;
- Maintain effective working relationships with partners and its employees, non-profit and for profit partners, the public and other related agencies;
- Plan, schedule and organize multiple priorities and a high volume of work;
- Ability to think strategically with a long term perspective;
- Ability to independently create possibilities to increase overall revenue with a focus on cost effectiveness, RoI, VTD, Retention rate, Attrition rate, Cost per Lead, Average Gift, Membership acquisition sign up rate, lead conversion rate and overall expansion and growth;
- Must have experience working with diverse individuals and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets. An understanding of database segmentation, prospect identification and professional fundraising experience will be mandatory;
- Very strong organizational skill.
