United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Performance Management Officer in Budapest, Hungary.
The Performance Management officer will be dealing with very confidential information concerning all UNHCR staff members, including the rebutted ePADs.
UNHCR’s primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Performance Management Officer will perform the following functions-
- Provide personalized counseling and general information on Performance Management to all UNHCR staff members.
- Monitor and review the administration of Performance Management related procedures.
- Provide quality control and support implementation of PAMS in the organization by both staff and managers.
- Liaise, through the Head of Unit, with DIST for any required enhancement of the IT system supporting the Performance Management process.
- Oversee and administer the management of the rebuttal process and ensure client-oriented services.
- Support the development, promotion and implementation of human resources practices, procedures and policies pertaining to performance management.
- Assist in the design of performance management surveys and the compilation and analysis of the related results.
- Participate in the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports and compilation of statistics as required.
- Support the Head of Unit if and when requested in the management of the Data Management sub-unit dealing with fact-sheets update and the filing or PER/IND files.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Advanced University degree (MA/MBA) or University Degree (BA/BSc) in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, and Political Sciences, Law, Organizational Development or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years for (MA/MBA holders) or 8 years (for BA/BSc holders) of professional work experiences relevant to the function.
- Analytical skills, knowledge and experience in design and implementation of HR policies at the international level.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, strategic thinking and planning skill.
- Proven ability to analyze data.
- Solid computer skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
