Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer in Erbil, Iraq.
NRC provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide.
Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will perform the following functions-
- Provide regular progress reports to AM, PMs and M&E Coordinator.
- Coordinate process to establish program level M&E systems.
- Support in developing data collection methodology and tools, and in actual data collection, as needed.
- Support and contribute to the development of a data management system through documentation, implementation and coordination of standardizes information flow of M&E activities and reporting.
- Conduct field monitoring and verification of implemented projects as needed.
- Contribute to area level CC concept note development and participate in log frame design during project proposal process to support on indicator formulation.
- Capacity building and training of program staff on M&E technical and conceptual areas, as needed.
- Support in standardizing M&E across projects including Kirkuk.
- Travel Kirkuk as and when needed and support M&E assistant in Kirkuk.
- Perform any other task given by line manager.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- University bachelor degree is preferable.
- Experience with and knowledge of principles and current approaches to monitoring and evaluation in relief and development programs, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.
- Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic both written and verbal.
- Nationality of Iraq.
