Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Manager, Contracts & Compliance will perform the following functions-
- Development and enhancement of the compliance program to serve the life-cycle of projects and commercial engagements from inception to completion.
- Corporate support services including corporate insurance.
- Monitoring and commenting on new client regulations.
- Negotiation of contractual terms in the company’s interest.
- Supporting governance of the affiliates incorporated in various countries overseas in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies, Group Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines, and client rules and regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have-
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred, and degree in Law highly preferred.
- 3-5 years commercial law, ideally as part of a multi-national in-house team.
- Experience working with teams on large and complex projects with a high risk profile.
- Knowledge of international contracting, grant, and cooperative agreement regulations, international hiring and employment practices in multiple jurisdictions would be particularly advantageous.
- Other
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a small team environment with minimal supervision; well-developed collaboration skills.
- Contract negotiation skills; sound research skills and ability in interpretation of regulatory and legal requirements.
- Strong focus on systems, impact, and results.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in another language desirable.
- Experience delivering training to diverse audiences.
- Sound problem solving and decision makes skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Willingness to travel.
