The All We Can agency is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Partnership Manager (Humanitarian Aid and Disaster) based in London, UK.
The Partnership Manager (HA & DRR) will be the thematic lead and champion for All We Can’s humanitarian aid response and disaster risk reduction support for churches and local NGOs.

Key Job Responsibilities
The Partnership Manager (HA & DRR) will perform the following functions-
- Lead on the development and implementation of a Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Risk Reduction policy and strategy paper for All We Can
- Support partners (NGOs and local churches) working in disaster prone and climate change affected areas to conduct rigorous assessments of their target communities’ vulnerability to shocks and stresses, and determine the impacts of rapid and slow onset disasters on their development programmes
- Support these partners to develop and implement DRR/climate change adaptation plans that lead to the development of resilient communities
- Work closely with the marketing and campaigns teams to promote good organisational communications internally and learn from our achievements in HR & DRR
- Work closely with the marketing and campaigns teams to promote good organisational communications externally with partners and assist with resource mobilisation
- Assist with the recruitment and management of country coordinators (where these are needed)
- Recruit and manage HA, DRR/climate change adaptation consultants working with All We Can and/or its partners as needed
- Manage several partnerships with churches and NGOs in allocated countries
- Assess applications for partnership from Southern NGOs and churches in line with All We Can policy and criteria, and provide support in developing proposals for approval
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of partners and the use of any grants via correspondence, regular reports and visits to Southern and INGO partners
- Assist partners to develop their own capacity building strategies
- Build the DRR/CCA technical capacity of All We Can partners both at a distance and during visits through giving advice, sharing information and useful tools, encouraging networking opportunities, conducting or arranging training and technical assistance
- Provide Director, IPP, with adequate narrative and financial information for project approval and progress monitoring, including recommendations for partnership continuation or termination
- In liaison with the Director, IPP, evaluate the service offered by All We Can to partners
- Assist the Director, IPP, to develop and implement robust work plans that operationalise the strategic plan
- Assist the Director, IPP, in achieving programme and department plan objectives
- Liaise with the Major Relationship Manager as required
- Share information and knowledge between All We Can partners
- Contribute to developing organisational learning and expertise in this specialist area through research and sharing of knowledge within the team
- Communicate with and where possible, collaborate with other NGOs and governmental bodies to facilitate good development practice
- Prepare and conduct presentations regarding relevant partnership to stakeholders including the Methodist Church, Trustees and other supporters
- Assist the Director, IPP, to review and manage the development budget, in liaison with the IPP Team
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Graduate degree or equivalent advanced degree in humanitarian assistance or related technical area of expertise, such as engineering, public health, or international development
- Post-graduate qualification in development studies or a related subject Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of the internet and email
- Familiarity with database programs Significant field experience of working with small development organisations, NGOs, CBOs, faith based organisations or INGOs in a low income country
- Experience with overseas church engagement and/or mobilisation programmes
- Minimum of five years of field experience in disaster risk management and humanitarian assistance, with a strong familiarity with international norms, minimum standards, and best practices in the field of humanitarian assistance
