Management Sciences for Health (MSH) announces the vacancy of Sr. Financial Analyst, Contracts & Budget Analyst and invites applications from experienced and qualified candidates. The location of this job will be based in US-VA-Arlington. Occasional travel to Boston for 1-2 days per trip. Possible travel to field missions or regional partners for support of field activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance. Master’s of Business Administration a plus.
- Knowledge of US government contracting rules and regulations required, certifications preferred.
- At least one prior experience with financial management of USAID or CDC contracts or cooperative agreements, either with a technical support contractor or with USG. Field experience a strong plus.
- Experience with creating and managing budgets in Excel. Strong computer skills and advanced ability working with spreadsheets and word processing; MS-Excel and MS-Word preferred.
- Some knowledge or experience with the Global Fund at country or international level a plus.
- Proven programmatic, technical and managerial ability and interpersonal skills; including ability to learn complex program procedures.
- Fluency in English required. Ability to speak and work in a second Global Fund language preferred (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian or Arabic).
