Applications are invited by UNDP India from qualified and experienced candidates for the job/vacancy of Technical Coordinator. The location of this job will be based in New Delhi. Please note that this is a Service Contract (SC). Duration of this contract is 1 year. Remuneration package starts at Rs. 124,231/- per month (taxable).
Recruitment Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s Degree with excellent academic record in the field related to sustainable development, including Developmental studies/ Social sciences/ Economics/ Environmental Science/ public policy/ or related field.
- A relevant doctoral degree will be highly desirable.
Work Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant post Masters Experience at the national level on sustainable development issues.
- Hands on experience on sustainable development issues (policy and operational) will be preferred.
- Experience in working at senior policy level on sustainable development will be desirable.
- Outstanding communication, project management and organizational skills.
- Experience of working with Central and/or State Governments/ NGOs/ Civil Society on similar assignments will be preferred.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, experience in handling of web based management systems is essential.
- Willing to travel as part of programme implementation.
- Familiarity with the working environment and professional standards of international organizations and national and State Governments.
