Applications from the qualified applicants are invited for the post of Program Specialist at USAID. Salary Range is $51,630.00 to $97,333.00 / Per Year. Job location is Washington DC Metro Area, DC, US
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Independently process and maintain past performance files; providing analysis and evaluation of performance assessments registration and timely completion.
- Provide timely reports, and follow-up for missing and incomplete information, ensure that all file maintenance reports are acted upon with necessary results achieved.
- Identifies key policy issues and develops operating policy, procedures and guidance pertaining to major, complex support services programs areas.
- Administers and coordinates use within a major budget systems database that requires the integration of several other systems.
- Prepares program-related correspondence, reports, and/or written analyses that include information having a direct impact on agency’s programs and activities across organizational lines.
At full performance level you will act as primary liaison with critical persons and groups both inside and outside of the agency, speaking for the principal on complex program issues; provide guidance and advice concerning program-related or administrative policies and/or management and organizational theories that require considerable adaptation and/or interpretation for application to internal program issues and problems, or where decisions about how to proceed are complicated by conflicting programs goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience :
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the next lower GS grade level in the Federal Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Examples of qualifying specialized experience are: records management, budget management, program analysis, contract requisition system, developing operating policies/procedures.
