CARE USA has invited applications from qualified and deserving candidates for the job/vacancy of Project Manager SAF-PAC project (Supporting Access to Family Planning and Post Abortion Care in Emergencies). The location of this job will be based in Goma-Dem Rep of Congo . Please note that this is Full Time,Unaccompanied position with travel upto 50%. French and English languages are required for this position.
Required
- Previous experience managing a large project with multiple partners;
- Technical expertise in sexual, reproductive and maternal health (SRMH) and gender;
- 10-15 years experience with SRMH and health system strengthening with at least five years at a senior management level;
- Emergency preparedness and response experience;
- Budget management experience;
- Strong people management skills with the ability to provide guidance and support;
- Capacity to work in a multi-sector team, including coordinating technical input into proposals;
- Familiarity with requirements of key humanitarian donors and capacity to work in a multi-donor environment;
- Project planning, conceptual framework and excellent writing skills;
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills;
- Excellent French oral and written communication skills;
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Desired
- Knowledge of the UN Cluster and Humanitarian Reform process
