International Organization for Migration(IOM) Pakistan has invited applications from qualified and deserving applicants for the job/vacancy of RSC Caseworker . Locations of this job will be based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Please note that this is contractual position.
Under the programmatic overall supervision of the Resettlement Support Center (RSC) Manager, the direct supervision of the RSC Out-Processing Supervisor in Damak, Nepal, in conjunction with the Islamabad Operations Officer, and under the administrative supervision of the Chief of Mission in IOM Pakistan, the incumbent will provide support in implementation of RSC programme activities in Pakistan.
Education & Experience:
- Secondary school education is required.
- Minimum 4 years experience.
Languages :
- English
- Local language
Required Skills
Knowledge of Refugees
- Understanding of the flight reasons, living situation, and need for resettlement for refugees located in Pakistan
Interviewing Skills
- Ability to calmly conduct interviews in multiple languages or through an interpreter
- Document clearly and accurately bio data information and persecution stories
- Decipher information given in order to put together a timeline to establish accurate data which may be in conflict with various sources
Technology Skills
- Strong word processing skills
- Ability to communicate decisions through email and with partners as needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ability review reports and follow up as needed
- Strong skills in organizing, reviewing and following up with various forms of documentation
