UNDP Bangladesh invites applications from qualified and talented applicants for the vacancy of Field Officer Justice Sector Facility Project. The location of this job/vacancy will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Please note that this position is open for Bangladesh Nationals only. Duration of Initial Contract is one year with possibility of extension.
Required Skills and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in law
Experience
- Total of 5 years work experience including at least 3 years in law and justice field required;
- Practical knowledge of national justice sector agencies and local level justice partnerships such as the District Legal Aid Committees;
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of court procedures and rules as well as the reasons for delays in cases;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
- Willingness to undertake regular travel to pilot districts, build partnerships with local actors, monitor project activities and report back to project structures with concise analysis and advice.
Language requirements
- Excellent Communications skill in English and Bangla
