Applications are invited by UNDP Bangladesh from qualified and experienced candidates for the job/vacancy of Finance Expert A21 Phase II. The location of this job/vacancy will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Please note that this position is open for Bangladesh Nationals only.Duration of Initial Contract is 1 year initially (extendable).
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or highly relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Accounts and Financial management in development projects.
- Clear understanding of budgeting, accounting and bookkeeping, particularly under NEX procedures and GoB funded projects.
- Knowledge on Tax & VAT is essential.
- Sufficient experience with contemporary accounting systems, auditing and exposure to accounting software and ICT.
- Experience of UN/UNDP funded project will be an added advantage
- Working experience with international donor agency is an asset.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Bangla.
